It took a lot of squirming and wriggling, but Pandora made it over to the top. Dalgina giggled as she landed in a heap on the other side. Moving over she sniffed at her
tingla
, making sure she wasn't hurt. Satisfied that she wasn't Dalgina tugged at her ear, trying to pull Pandora up. Once they were both standing Dalgina looked around again. They would be leaving the house for sure, the question was where to after that.

Dalgina wasn't as big as her sister, though she wouldn't be the runt of the litter by any stretch. Her smaller body gave her more grace though, having less of herself to trip over. Her giant paws did all the work of the whole of Pandora's wriggling body unfortunately, leaving her constantly tripping. Tail wagging she skidded forward as Pandora bumped into her. I don't know.
Mahn
just said that it was golden and everything was pretty there. I think... it's got lots of shiny things, and blankets, and so much food you can't eat it all! Dalgina's imagination was stretched to the limit, trying to picture everything good in the world in one place.

She continued down the hall until they reach the stairs. Dalgina stood at the top for a moment, looking at the long stretch down. She'd gone down there before of course, but usually with an adult. Otherwise she bumped her nose on all the steps. Taking a deep breath Dalgina gathered her courage. This was part of growing up. She'd be real mature, just like Honrin, and go down the stairs by herself. Dalgina took her first step-and missed. Squealing she slid all the way down the stairs, bumping into the corners and scrabbling for purchase. She rolled to a stop at the bottom. Shaking her ears out she looked around, disoriented. What happened?
