Myth and Legend

She didn't say much maybe she was done talking and being annoying to him. He wasn't sure what it was about her that just made him so annoyed. Maybe it wasn't her maybe it was his mood. he had been in such a strange mood as it was and now he was sitting here trying to fish and freezing his tail off.

He shivered slightly as he watched the water golden eyes focused on it like something would happen. He moved the line ever slightly as he stopped focusing on the girl in front of him. The water rippled around the line as a smile graced the males features. Pulling on the line sharply he yanked the line and the fish from the water. It was nothing amazing but it was okay. He worked to pull the thing of the hook and looked up.

"Ya, I once saw one." He spoke as he tossed the fish at her. "Gift, tricksters don't live long in desert. Those who trick others lose hands or other parts." he spoke it was the truth. He'd seen a woman lose her hand for tricking a guard.

He recast the line into the water and remained silent.
