His words were simple, but it removed a lot of the threat behind him. Feeling fairly secure that she wouldn't be chucked into the hole now, or lose her hands, Terra moved closer. The strange dog seemed rather confused by her question, confirming that gods were indeed very important to him. They must have been some very powerful canines if he expected her to know what they were. Terra knew that knowledge wasn't spread equally, as she knew things others in the area didn't while being ignorant elsewhere, so found it a little surprising he would think she would know.


Her ears flattened in confusion as he said that gods had many forms. Did that mean they were luperci? Coyote had many forms, disguises taken on for her tricks. Perhaps he meant something like that. Pharaoh had her even more confused. Using one confusing word to explain another made no sense. To hear that the pharaoh protected and controlled the land turned him into an alpha with a funny title. Just like the other ones she had met. To have that tied to gods was strange, and her hackles rose at the last bit. Gods are death carriers? And you let them rule you? That was wrong, so wrong.
