It was wrong, so wrong, and yet so right. Terra wanted to clamber back over to Trent, to continue what they were doing. Her instincts had complete control over the tiny hybrid, leaving her clashing on the inside. If she had been pure coyote there would have been no hesitation. She wasn't though, leaving Terra to deal with the consequences, no one able to guide her through the frustration, to assure her that she wasn't the first. Out of the corner of her eye Terra watched Trent sit up, pulling his knees up to cover what their actions had created. His face was blank, leaving Terra ashamed. He wouldn't have wanted to stop.
His words weren't very reassuring. Terra looked up, her eyes burning with the need to continue and the instinct holding her back. His words brought a choked laugh from her. Will it end? Terra felt that it never would, continuing to drive her senselessly, forcing her to seek others out without having a mate to allow her to complete the actions. Of course, Trent wouldn't know. He was as young as she was, and a male on top of that. He couldn't know the answer. Still, Terra reached, needing the assurance.
