It was kind of awkward when Terra moved closer to him, but he tried not to fidget or get too nervous. Trent still wasn't entirely sure of his desires, where they lay and, most of all, which were the right and the wrong ones. His ears twitched as she spoke, and he smiled awkwardly again. Ah... Of course I'd like to.
The words came out kind of awkward and uncomfortable, since Trent wasn't sure how to behave properly in the current situation. Then again; would anyone?

Trent tried to think of something, anything to say to lighten the mood a little. He didn't really remember if he'd asked her any of the standard questions before the things happened, but it didn't really hurt to ask again if he had, she figured.
