The title from his prior home fell off his tongue with the ease of familiarity, causing a small smile of good humor crept into Anann's features as the elder canine fell victim to old habits, but otherwise made little of his slip of words. No doubt Regner had held that title for some time. The small slip up was hardly anything to be considered with as Casa was hardly stringent about such minor formalities. "Ah, don't worry about it. I am sure you'll become accustomed to the change sooner or later. Though to be perfectly honest it probably won't be the last change you see to rank for while." She said with another soft smile. Most of the Cavalierites that they had to day had spent little time within the Braccante ranks. It seemed their members either excelled and moved up the ranks or left in search of better prospects elsewhere. Besides, at his age, Regner was hardly suited for the laborer ranks.

Amber ears perked and dark brown eyes widened in mild surprise as Regner made introductions for the sleeping bundle of fur between his paws. Nearly perfectly matching Regner's own pelt, the young pup had escaped the Luna's notice until that moment when Regner dipped his nose in indication of her presence. Anann's eyes softened as she took a moment to look at the sleeping pup. Her unease was rather minute since the young pup was not awake and there was no need for interaction, which came as quite a relief. Anann was still not comfortable with the very young. Not to say that she was completely inapt with children, it just did not come with any sort of natural ease. Maternal instinct was one thing that Anann had always felt she lacked and she felt confident that no aspect of motherhood would come easily for her. A secret insecurity that only Anatoliy was truly aware of, though there was a slight hint to such feelings as her hand absently rested over her abdomen.

Anann's own hunger was mild as she offered a piece of the dried meat to Regner. Simply she had not wanted to be so rude as to eat in front of him. If he had not taken it she simply would have waited until she had retired to her room for the night to finish her light snack. The Luna found she was often having to remind herself to eat regularly enough. For a short time she had experienced an increased appetite with her pregnancy, but the last several days it had begun to wane. She was not sure if such a thing was cause for concern and had tried to keep her thoughts positive.

"So," She said, breaking the easy silence of the lounge and to break her thoughts away from her own problems, "what brought you and your granddaughter to this region of the world?" She was guessing, of coarse, that he had come quite a ways. The land of his prior home that he had given earlier had sounded quite foreign to her ears. Though so did many of the names of packs around the area, so it really didn't mean too much.
