Cerberus clambered back to his feet, clinging to Terra like she was a lifeline. It was really rather silly. Though Terra did like the contact. He just wasn't touching the right places. She met his eyes levelly, waiting for him to either put his hands somewhere else or let go. He finally released her, shakily sliding across the ice. Terra trotted after him, her footing sure. She giggled as Cerberus hit the other side, collapsing in a heap into the snow.
She skidded up next to him, and nodded her head at his words. Wow, you crossed the pond. Her words were gently teasing as she crossed over to him. She nuzzled her head into his chest, hearing the thumping of his heart. The snow was cold against her flesh, but it didn't calm the fire inside her. Terra shifted so that she was touching more of him, though she was too shy to crawl on top of him like she wanted to. Her tail thumped happily, Terra licking his chin.
