Cerberus was rather surprised at the discontented growl that shook in Terra’s throat in response to his pinning her. He’d expected her to squeal, giggle, anything but growl at him. This gave him reason to believe that perhaps this female preferred to be the dominating instead of the dominated, and he wasn’t sure he was okay with this. Being the male, he almost felt it his duty to be in charge, to be the one in control. But this female clearly didn’t like that, and as soon as he’d climbed up on her, he returned to his seat at her side once more. Never mind, he muttered shortly, ears flattening against his head, it can wait.
For a moment, Ceri contemplated standing up and leaving right then and there. As beautiful as Terra was – and perhaps even worth it – he wasn’t about to get in a battle over dominance. He wanted to believe that it was all a result of her little episode from earlier, but with the way her personality was and how she’d teased, it all made too much sense: she didn’t like the lack of control. However, this didn’t truly bother Cerberus as much as he’d expected it to. Gathering his cool again, he smiled charmingly at Terra and slouched over his knees as if nothing had happened. So, he finally said, tell me about yourself. If nothing else, he resolved, they could at least be friends.
