Though he liked to play games, this girl was just downright confusing, and she was beginning to make Cerberus feel rather off his game.
At her own question, Ceri took the opportunity to lie down beside the she-yote and fold his arms behind his head. Peering up at the sky, he crossed one ankle over the other and sighed softly. Throwing a sly smirk in her direction, Cerberus slowly began to relax again and forget about the moment’s confusion. He enjoyed Terra’s company, and that was enough to keep him from throwing his hands up in the air and moving on to the next bit of forest. And there were those beautiful eyes – as much as he tried to pull away, they clutched his resolve in a chokehold. He couldn’t ditch this girl; he wouldn’t. But he wasn’t above dismissing himself either if things got uncomfortable.
