The small black hand, so ready to aid him in removing her only piece of clothing, was almost enough to make him change his mind and just take the fabric. But he resisted. What good would it be to just take the cloth? He was greedier than that. He wanted more. Vikas' heart raced when she questioned him. Was this technically cheating? Would she say no? The male felt angry at himself for being so hesitant and nervous. It was not like him to be so anxious over whether or not someone liked the things he said. He felt weak and vulnerable, and those were feelings he did not enjoy.
But it was ok. It was all ok. His entire countenance seemed to brighten at her little grin, and he was encouraged once again. Currently, his mood depended completely on how Fleta reacted to him. It was ridiculous, but there wasn't much he could do about it. Vikas nodded, trying not to look overly enthusiastic. He felt that looking too excited would be childlike, and he wanted to preserve whatever remnants of a cool outer demeanor he had. "Sounds great. Do you want to meet up here again, or do you have another place in mind?" Fleta had been in the area longer, and surely knew far more about the region than he did. If there was anywhere more thrilling than an old abandoned house they had already explored, she would know it.
