She was obviously thinking about it, and he waited patiently for her to make up her mind. He felt a little guilty that he, the initiator, was not capable of coming up with a good spot. But unless they both went on a month long trip to North Dakota, Vikas had no good destinations in mind. Fleta closed her eyes as she thought, reminding Vikas of a little kid. She finally decided on a castle, which raised the wolf's curiosity. A castle? He had heard of them, but had certainly never seen one. He didn't even know they existed on this side of the pond. He nodded. The directions were vague, but he was confident he would be able to find it. It was a castle after all, they were theoretically hard to hide.
The coywolf moved in again, her warm cheek against his. Her words seemed so contradictory to her tone of voice, but Vikas was able to restrain himself. He had the date now, that was something to look forward to. As long as he had that, he would be able to stop himself from making any serious mistakes. Well, any serious mistakes of this nature. "Yes, probably," he mumbled, obviously not too thrilled with the idea even if he now had the strength to follow through with it. Vikas stepped back, breaking them apart again. A small smile flickered on his face before he turned around and headed back to the front door again. He opened the door, stepping out to check his bags and make sure nothing was missing. From just a quick glance, all seemed to be well.
Vikas bent down and picked up his bags and balalaika again, re-assuming his donkey role. "Until then," he spoke, giving her a signal that was a mix between a salute and a wave.
