OOC: No worries! I'm too tired to put in all the table stuff, so bleh. >.> Short crap post! ))

Ciara had been moving along swiftly, bounding over any obstacle in her way and making good time. Before she knew it, they were passing into the Northern territories...and then Ceri was passing her. She felt his mouth close over the tip of her tail first, then heard his yip and answered it with a resounding one of her own as he passed her. Ducking her head down, Ciara ran faster.

She bolted and bolted until she just barely managed to make it past him, and as they came to her favorite stretch of shoreline close to the New Dawn borders, the yearling got brave. She'd been flanking him for the last few minutes, but now that there was the soft sand beneath them, she knew her plan would work. With one great leap, Ciara dove a few paces in front of Ceri and ducked. If her plan worked, the boycoy would trip over her and go spiraling into the sand. It was soft, so she knew he wouldn't hurt himself.

She loved the beach, loved the scent of the ocean that often lingered on her fur. The little subordinate would spend days exploring, poking her nose at random clumps of seaweed and long forgotten shells stuck in the sand. The sun was finally setting over the ocean, leaving a blazing red horizon for them to look at whenever Ceri recovered. If he wasn't too mad at her for tripping him up, she'd want to take the time to walk on this beach with him for awhile. After all, they were a mere half hour's walk from the edge of New Dawn. Ciara knew that when they came to those borders, Ceri wouldn't be able to cross.

At least not yet.
