Twist of Fate

The assassin kicked for Amy's legs again. It only brought the beast rearing up, jaws still snapping at flesh. She only managed to tear part of it off before she was sliding down, Shadowfang jumping up, causing her fangs to dip out as they dragged into the calf. Her head was painfully slammed into, sending her snarling as she tried to fight. It hurt a lot, but she had drawn first blood. Coming back down Amy pushed back, clearing some distance between them. She needed to calculate again.

Shadowfang flipped forwards, attempting to strike her with his leg. It was a foolish, open ended maneuver. Amy smiled as she saw it, noting the weakness that she knew was inherent in his fighting style. There could be no other way. He wasn't distanced from the fight, calculating as she was. He came back down, and even before he hit the ground Amy was there, seizing his leg in her jaw and tossing him like a rag doll. The monstrous female bounded over the land towards where she'd hurled the assassin, searching for how he'd deal with the fresh injuries, making it difficult to work with a damaged foot.
