OOC: no clothes~
It was already dark out, and Vikas was just about to turn in for the night. He wasn't anywhere near a good house to spend the night in, so he had decided on sleeping the good ol' wolfy way. Well, secui technically, but it still involved sleeping in a makeshift den. He had built himself a little lean-to in a particularly dense and dark part of the woods, and had buried and hidden his bags nearby. The only reason he was still up was because he had a serious case of the munchies, and wanted something to nibble on before falling asleep. He had remedied the slight belly rumblings by catching a northern flying squirrel, but it was tiny and hardly filling. He figured he'd have to do better in the morning, when more animals were awake and easier to hunt down.
Vikas headed back to his temporary home, shifting into optime form for comfort, even though he would need to change again once he got there. It was dark out, but he had no real problems navigating his way back. He remembered the path, and all the smells were familiar to him. Except..smoke? He froze in the dark, swiveling his ears slightly and wrinkling his nose to try and figure out what he was detecting. It smelled like a fire, which was something he didn't remember noticing earlier. How long had he been gone? The boy followed the smell until he could see a faint, flickering flash of orange lower down on the mountainside.
He was very near another individual, but he only barely noticed her before stepping on her. Vikas stood still, looking ahead a few feet to see that someone was laying on the ground. She was a dark figure, and had he been any further away he wouldn't have seen her. Vikas felt incredibly uncomfortable. It hadn't been his plan to stumble into someone else's camp. Lord only knew what she was doing there. "Miss?" he asked hesitantly, giving another quick side glance to the hint of fire below.
