Terra moved closer to Hotaru. The other submitted, giving way to the fierce creature, but growled as she stepped back. Sharply Terra turned and faced her, hackles raised. She snapped at the air, still not recognizing her friend in her wild mind. Returning to her meal Terra picked through. About half way she came back to herself, and actually backed away from the moose slightly, letting Hotaru eat the sections that Terra had left behind. While she had gone for the best parts she hadn't eaten all of them, content with stuffing herself with regular meat as well.
Stuffed with the wonderful meal Terra turned and flopped down in the grass. She didn't need to worry about finding cover, the underbrush dense enough to give them plenty of warning before any scavengers showed up for their prey. Terra licked her lips softly before proceeding to clean the rest of the blood off herself. Feeling wonderfully lazy Terra closed her eyes, sighing. That would be great. Love being able to get prey like this. Her words were drowsy, though sincere in their words.
