Carving Lessons

OOC sorry for short post

Hadley watched curiously as a smaller bag was pulled out from the larger bag. He hadn't expected such a thing. He had figured that everything would be kept in one bag together, not divided up in such a way. Perhaps it was naive of him to think that way, not having many possessions beyond the blue ribbon on his arm. In fact, that was the only thing he owned, even the knife he was using borrowed from Grace.

Obediently Hadley lowered himself to the ground, eyes averted to keep from challenging the obviously superior wolf. After all, he knew about carving, and had approached him asking what he was doing there. True, it wasn't the same stormy approach that had him terrified of Anatole, but it was powerful for him. The bowl was gripped in his hand as he looked at the bag with interest. Something was in there that could help him? That was interesting. What was it?
