For days she had dreamed this, thought about a happy get-away with Hadley. Somewhere beautiful, dreamy and completely worthwhile. Call her a bit frazzle-brained, but technically the pair were a couple. And relationships had to be kept happy.

At first, she hadn't told him of the trip. She had secretly packed things ranging from food to warm fur blankets. Even a tent! They couldn't possibly go anywhere and sleep in the snow. The tent had been a very lucky find, all wrapped neatly in a soft bag. The poles shone like new. If only she knew how to set it up. The things were kept in an unseen pile underneath a blanket, hopefully not noticed by her hunk of a roommate.

There. That's when she leapt upon him with the idea of a short vacation. He agreed, but was rather tentative about traveling. He saddled up a separate horse and they left. Uka carried much of the things, they could easily pass as traveling merchants with the large surplus of supplies. To the chocolate female, this was a dream.

For days she had tried to set up the tent. Failing miserably when attempting to read over the very difficult instructions. They had abandoned it on the trail, too bad. Now where would they sleep? A cave? A dug out den? Under the stars? Sel pondered over these choices as they listened to the clip-clip of hooves. Looking back to her mottled companion, Selene gave a grin and teasingly asked "Still got legs on you? I think it's time we rest..." She slid off her horse, throwing the supplies gently into a pile on the ground, and letting go of the reins to let him graze along the new mountain grasses, soon the rest of the snow would be melted. And this would be a wonderland.

The sun would be going down soon, sunset to descend over the world. It would certainly be wise of the small hybrid to get settled with Hadley. There was a large inviting cave ahead, immediately Sel found herself lightly sprinting to check it out. It was dark yes, and uninhibited. "Hadley! It's perfect...Well stay dry this time." Red eyes glittered with awe, she had never really slept in a cave before. Well, there was Anathema. But that didn't really count. It wasn't her own space. Jogging back, the young coydog picked up handfuls of the supplies, looking back to grin thoughtfully at Hadley. "It's perfect...Wanna help me take the stuff there? We can start a fire 'n everything." This was so amazing! It was simply vast untouched land for their delight! [/html]
