OOC Laughs

He was relieved when Isa agreed to go back with him. Things would seem much clearer away from the house, away from all the pain and confusion. The pack was safety, the pack was where they belonged. There was a reason why Hadley didn't like leaving it. He noticed the worried expression on her face, and smiled gently, trying to reassure her that everything was alright. Nothing was wrong, he just really needed to leave. As distance grew between them even the memory of the house faded from Hadley's mind, tucked away into the dark folds to never be found again.

Hearing that he'd mentioned Selene while crying his eyes widened with worry. Had something happened to Selene? Had she been hurt somehow? This wasn't good. Isa was hurt, Selene was hurt, and Hadley didn't know what had happened. He had a feeling he didn't want to know either. He shook his head softly at her question. No. He wanted to be ready for that. He wanted to be prepared to give Selene everything she deserved when the time came, not just being someone to hold on to, but someone who could protect her as well. She deserved at least that much. If he couldn't give it, maybe she'd find someone better. Until then though, he would do his best to become what she needed.

Isa froze, Hadley continuing a few steps before realizing she had stopped. The large male turned, looking curiously at her. Realizing he was staring the hybrid flushed a deep red, dropping his gaze to the ground. It was too challenging for him to do such a thing. He stood there awkwardly before clearing his throat. Um...you okay? Foolish question. He knew something was wrong. He just wasn't sure what it was.
