His words were supposed to be reassuring, but Hadley knew beyond a doubt how dangerous this wolf was, how easy it would be for Shadowfang to kill them. Hearing that he was only hear to help was hard to believe when all his instincts were screaming that this male was dangerous, to get away from him.
