Isa's confusion brought a worried frown to his face. That wasn't good. It appeared both of them were prone to blacking out parts of their memories. Hadley didn't remember having sex with Isa, and Isa didn't remember the horrible fight the two females had gotten into. Shaking his head Hadley clutched her closer to him, wishing that he could take the broken girl and fix her somehow, make her whole and happy. It was too bad he wasn't that good.
The black demon walked in, passing a large chunk of meat over to them. That was good. She could probably use more to eat. Hadley registered the different name only slightly, more of his attention on taking care of the wolf in his arms. The fearful reaction Isa released though had him growling at Shadow, an automatic reaction to those he considered a threat to those he cared for. Realizing it was out of place his ears flattened down, wishing he'd bit his tongue.
