Hadley nuzzled Isa as he held her and kissed her cheek softly. She looked up at him when he spoke. Did he really love her? It was possible that it was just because she was in heat. She knew the scent she was giving off could make males act differently, well obviously it did, but could it make Hadley think he loved her when he didn’t? Isa wasn’t sure, it seemed possible in her mind. He had just gotten out of a relationship with Selene, well, really it was broken apart because of Isa. She still felt terrible for being the cause but could Hadley really love her so soon after loving Selene? Maybe, maybe not.
Hadley didn’t seem like the type to lie to her though, so maybe he meant it. Maybe. She felt she had to ask though. You sure it’s not because I’m in heat? I…I know things with Selene just recently ended, but then again, I guess she’s already moved on too. She was mainly talking to herself but Hadley should also know Isa thought Selene had moved on. Maybe he would be a little happier.
