She giggled and with ease she found herself again beside him and then she found he pushed passed her. Her nostrils flared out and she drew in the cooled air and her lungs filled expanding and her legs moved and this time she let herself go full swing with a bound. Her legs moved at top notch and she knew she couldn't go any faster but it was all she needed to get ahead and she cut in front of him, without thought. The only thing she thought was it he would have to try and move around her to get ahead. The consequences of her heat, and being in front of him didn't cross her mind. In truth, she forgot about her hormonal state. All she thought about was running, the wind rushing past her, and the feel of winning.
She couldn't go any faster and she was sure he couldn't out run her, and even so, she was getting further ahead of him with each stride. He would have to move aside of her and push himself more to catch up, and then push more to get in front of her. It was now that she realized they didn't have an end point, but she was figuring they were now getting deep within the territory, maybe they would end when they got to the other side of the territory. Surely, they would soon get to the other side at this pace.
The terrain was full of ups and downs, it was a great challenge with running and keeping pace uphill and saw her pace rise with each downhill run. They ran through a densely treed area and she leaped with grace over the fallen trees and branches. It was now agility race, and Adonia was having too much fun. Her excitement raised surely altering her scent a little.
