[html]ee, thank you!

The past lingered between them, an unresolved tension that Alder thought about at times. But he wanted to get past it and had forgiven Cypress long ago for leaving and –in his eyes– not fighting for their mother when she needed it. Alder knew he was at fault as well, emotion and rage were controllable things and he had lost that important leash to both. He pushed it away, focusing on the pleasure of his brother’s visit rather then the insecurity that remained.

Good, there has been a lot of things to do in the stables. he added, his tail in a constant lazy wave. He moved a bit closer to Cypress, as if to gather him up and bring him into the pack lands. Come on, no need to hang at the borders. He cocked his head as if to wave Cypress on along with him and began the walk towards his cabin.

How is everything with you? And mother? And Oak? He questioned in a not so gentle manner. He hadn’t seen them in some time, duty of the Court keeping him away.
