He watched as she did as he asked and though apprehensive at first, she did begin to saw. It took a little while to get through everything, but once the limbs were off it would be easier to get the job done. As he watched an overpowering of her scent filled his nostrils and he had to squeeze his eyes shut and quell the sturring below his belly. It took him several minutes to get himself under control, thinking about things other than her that would help quash this feeling. It seemed he was right on track with what to think and when he was himself again, or mostly himself, she had finished with the third leg. Once finished with the forth she spoke up.
“Actually we neet o make certain cuts where the legs were, to make it easier to get the skin of, cut here, here and here, and do the same to the other leg.”
He pointed to three spots on the deer in which it would be best to skin and pull it apart so it would be flat. He then showed her where to cut on the hind end. His free arm was touching her shoulder as he leaned forward to show her what to do and where to cut.
“Then it’s easy street to get the skin off the muscle and other stuff, just be careful some parts don’t like to come off, and we want the skin intact or it won’t be much of anything.”
He said and watched her, wishing to help but having only one knife meant only one could do it. He was surprised at her movements with the knife as it was so new to her, but she was a quick learner as he was finding out now.
