A simple Song

Her eyes noticing how he was being so tense, but so was she. Things were awkward, she had the urge to playfully nip him, but would play cause him excitement, or was that just because of...

She licked her lips, again, nervously. He spoke, and something in his tone said he wasn't happy with her mate returning, or was it because he had hurt himself? Before she could say anything-as if she even had anything to say, which she didn't-he got up and went to the waves. Her ears lifted high on her head as she watched him with curious eyes. Her gaze lowered for a moment. This was harder than she imagined. Really, it was awkward being around the pack branded as Tharin's, but it had wore off some before Ookami came back, still...Ookami hadn't said anything about her scent. Adonia stood and trotted down to the water and a sudden idea came to her mind and she nearly pounced around, frolicking toward Tharin. A large smile plastered on her as she pounced into the saltwater, splashing around aiming to splash Tharin. She giggled lightly. The wolfdog hoped to lighten the atmosphere and hopefully get Tharin to relax. Nothing happened, so why should they worry about it? He didn't mate with her, and she wasn't disloyal to her mate. Almost, yes...but it did or didn't...there is no almost.
