Kai felt triumphant as his bite connected and he felt his jaws clamp around something warm and covered in fur, though which part of her it was, he was unsure. He just knew that on his tongue, he tasted her blood, and it drove him on. It was her moving back more than his jaws that caused the bite to become more of a wound that intended, and he heard the rip of flesh just as she did. Kai felt the sting in his own neck as she was forced to let go of him, giving him a chance to scramble to his feet, moving to face her now. His eyes were locked onto her, onto the wound on her neck he had made, onto the crimson smears against her white pelt. With the female's blood on his tongue, he lapped tauntingly at his muzzle as she began to slowly circle him, while he did the same, moving like mirror reflections of each other. The colourings of her pelt showed them exactly - black and white opposite each other, like ying and yang, moving in sync with each other, each step he took anti-clockwise following her.
And when finally she did attack, he was ready for it. This was what he did. Kai was a secent fighter because he hated to lose. Competition had driven him since he shared a womb with his brother, always jostling for the right to be first - the first to be born, the first to suckle from their mother, the first to open their eyes. It had continued this way until Rafael's untimely death at the hands of Malakai. As Axelle pounced, Kai lowered himself to the ground and twisted his body so that, while she was busy sinking her fangs into his left rear flank, above his hind leg, he would do the same to her in exactly the same place. It caused the two of them to fall into the grass, immediatly their bodies intertwining, clawing, jerking and thrashing wildly. Her bite at his flank hurt, but it only caused him to clamp his jaws down harder as he bit her in the same place, his head snapping back and forth as he held onto her. And while she held back, Kai didn't. He bit her with the same force he would use to take down a stag. He bit her like he meant it, rage flaming in his feral eyes.
