Her whole body was quivering, a treat for Tharin to look at. She was so desirable, driving the poor male right out of his mind with want. The confusion on her face confused Tharin. Didn't she know what she was doing? Why this was a bad idea? He'd explained it as best as he could. The questions sent a quiver of laughter through his body. Yes, he did want to. It did matter whether or not they were mates though, even if Fayne didn't think so.

He just had to convince her to pay attention to it, instead of tempting him into doing something they'd regret. His body stiffened as she came close, nuzzling and rubbing along his body. He could feel himself react to her, aroused by the scent. Fayne...being in heat means you're ready for puppies. His voice was thick, struggling to not react.
