It is often said that curiosity killed the cat. For that purpose X’ies had always decided that this was limited to felines and thus he was quite fine with indulging his own sense of curiosity. So he followed those little noises down the path and would spot another pup playing willfully as one would expect their kind to. Yet he knew that he wasn’t like her, for the simple reason that he was not doing as she would, he did not play. He did not ance on the rocks, daring gravity. Challenging himself. At least, not in that way. He preferred other methods. The idea of just watching , learning from each step and form till she…interesting..

He approached, watching the dangling pup with the same curiosity that brought him here. He didn’t speak a word, nor did he laugh despite the creeping grin in his mind. His muzzle remained expressionless for this moment. “ What are you doing?” . Words that would eventually brek through the silence between them both. He’d let that question hang in the air for a moment, female. She looked familiar. Or rather, her coat did. The Nomads were a rather tight knit group but he didn’t pay much mind to the other pups. He circled for a moment, resisting the temptation to nip at her tail just to take advantage of her position.

But of course she would drop, did she expect that the fall was going to be greater than it was? Amusing. “ You are a curious one”. He said, not indicating that she herself was curious, but rather her nature tempted him to be curious about her. Just who was this pup precisely? There was a name on his tongue, but one that he couldn’t quite bring to mind. X’ies always had wished he was better with names. But then that was another lesson, something to work on. Couldn’t be much of a diplomat if he couldn’t remember something as simple as a name.
