Ooc.

She was supposed to go to Wolfville to check out the scenery and see if she could find anything worth using. She remembered she was here once before, and she met Hotaru, she believed. Peculiar woman. She was so handicapped, but yet so independent. When Axelle offered her help, she wouldn’t take it. She figured the woman didn’t want to look stupid and needy, but Axelle didn’t mind helping someone in need. Maybe that was it- she didn’t want to look like she needed anyone either. Axelle mentally shrugged as she walked down a dirt road of the very country town. She remembered she came here once looking for clothes, but everything here was just so not her style… As she thought about clothes, the sound came to her ears.

The sound made her look to her left where she saw an emaciated stallion running around in a fenced in field. Why he didn’t try to jump the fence, she didn’t know, but the horse definitely looked stuck. She immediately wanted to help the lad, and she knew she already needed a horse. If she could catch this one, she would be in business. Axelle moved calmly over to the fence and watched the large creature run around in the field. His body, when it wasn’t malnourished, would be perfect to pull the large wagon she found in Halifax. As she watched the horse snort and gallop around the field, she thought of all the wonderful things owning a horse would bring her. An eager smile erupted on her face as her eyes followed the handsome brute. She slowly went into the locked gate, and closed it behind her. She didn’t want him getting away on her. She slowly approached the area where the horse stood, she guessed taking a break from all the running, but as soon as she neared him, he stomped his foot and took off running away from her. She repeated this process a few more times, having the hope that he would come to trust her. Her theory was shitty, and he didn’t trust her not one bit. The horse continued to avoid her advances to him, and after a while Axelle stopped.

She leaned against the fence near the gate she entered before and watched the horse. She thought about what she could do to get him to come home with her. She hadn’t any type of experience with horses, let alone catching them. She wished she knew a little bit; that way, she could catch him, bring him home, and feed him. That way he would know she was good because she saved him. She thought about the possibility of staying there the whole night, sleeping in the middle of the field with the horse running around her; maybe he would come to trust her then. She would be vulnerable on the ground, and if he wanted, he could kill her. It was a big risk that wasn’t worth it, but it was the only one she had in mind for making the horse trust her. Axelle continued to lean on the fence, focusing on a plan to capture the animal.
