Axelle’s eyes followed the shire horse as it weaved through the tall grasses in the field. Whenever it seemed to run into a fence, it would rear and run the other way. The horse seemed stubborn, but every now and then it would stop and stare at her like he needed to see why she was there just watching him. Every now and then he would run rather close to her, but never stay in the same spot for too long. Axelle didn't have a clue as to how she was going to get this horse to slow down enough so that she could grab his reigns. The horse did have a chewy looking headpiece on, and it seemed it wasn’t there for long though. The bit in his mouth had to have been rusty and uncomfortable, probably causing a slow infection. Maybe that was the cause of the horse’s overall discomfort. She tried calling to the horse in low-speech, but he wouldn’t give her an answer.
She found herself leaning beside the gate for hours, watching the beautiful stallion run around the field. She lost herself in thought here and there, but when she heard someone clear their throat, she jumped slightly and turned. She saw a male on top of a large stallion that looked much like the one she was trying to capture in the field. ”Hello there. Do you have any experience with capturing horses?” Her eyes settled on the large horse that carried him. There was no doubt he knew something about wrangling the animals- but it was always better to ask than assume. She looked back at the stallion running around the empty field, giving an occasional neigh. She turned back to the stranger and his horse, ”I’m Axelle, nice to meet you.” Then she looked down at the horse’s face and told him the same in low-speech. She was capable of speaking to both of them, so why not introduce herself to both of them. ”Do you think you can help me, sir?” He seemed like a well enough man. His energies were in the right place and the feeling he gave off didn't seem to be malicious. She thought she could trust him with helping her with this small task.
