Axelle didn’t say anything else; she just nodded and watched as the man confidently walked into the enclosure. The horse stood as far away from them as he could and kept a watchful eye on the man coming towards him with the rope. Axelle watched as Alder spread his arms, kind of like an eagle’s wing span, and kept walking toward the stallion. Then he signaled for her to do the same.

Axelle’s nerves tensed and her heart raced just a little bit. It was her time to shine, and yet she was a nervous wreck. She hesitated for a moment, but she soon carried out the task anyway. She took a moment to calm herself, which made her blood pump a little slower and her head feel less woozy, and then walked out into the rest of the field. When she neared the two, she opened her arms wide just as Alder did, her fingertips pointing outward as if to make herself seem bigger. She kept herself closer to the other side of the fence, but the gap in between them was still not wide enough for the horse to comfortably escape through. It would make him pass too close to either of the wolves, and thus probably make him extremely uncomfortable. It would be a daring move if he did so.

As the two wolves closed in on him, the horse seemed to become more uncomfortable. He stomped a hoof and snorted a few times, while still keeping a watchful eye on the two. He neighed loudly here and there, which instantly made Axelle nervous. She wasn’t aware that what they were doing was so that they would appear bigger to the already huge stallion, and she didn’t want to get ran over by the brute. She suspected it would probably hurt, a lot.
