[html]seems like a good place to end Smile we should have another thread... Wink

It only seemed natural for the female to take the stallion with her. Alder could see the attachment in the woman, and he had none himself. Hawthorn waited for him beyond the fenced area, and that was enough companionship for the Marshal.

Anathema, Alder hadn’t been sure about where she was from and now that was clear. He hadn’t visited the pack lands, but he knew that they were to the west of his own home. He nodded, glad that the horse would get the care he needed there.

A man of few words among strangers he only asked of one thing. Rope such as this is rare. When he is well, return in to Cour des Miracles for me. Alder gave a soft smile to match his lighthearted tone. He was glad that he could have helped, especially since the stallion needed medical attention. He would have slowly died in the wilds.

Good luck to you both. He added, and with a nod of good bye Alder turned to return to his friend. Together they would head back to the Court, and a wait the woman’s call in the coming weeks. He hoped that when the horse was well and strong she would be able to ride him to the Court’s borders for a visit.
