Jiva could only shrug at the man’s indignation at the crimes against the woman. He didn’t know what went on in her head, or he would have found her long ago and they would have done away with her. He didn’t know what he would do himself, kill her or give her to the two women who deserved to give her, her punishment. The other seemed to have the same ideas as him about killing, and he saw the look his own father had too and knew what he was thinking about. Sometimes killing was inevitable, it would happen sooner or later. Jiva could only hope it would be later.
At the offer for a demonstration Jiva’s lips thinned and he eyed the man up and down. He had been this honest and seemed to know that Jiva was weak with the item, then found he could trust this man more than most outside his pack. He had not choice but to trust his pack, they were his brothers and sisters and they were to be loyal as he was to his own pack. “Yes, but try not to cut me. I don’t want to hurt you either.” He said, but doubted he would land a blow of any kind on the other.
