The other man’s hand shot out and did something, that was far too fast for Jiva to see, even though he was paying complete attention, but it just happened so quickly that he nearly yelped in astonishment as the knife flew out of his hand and onto the ground. He watched it until Alister spoke and he turned to listen to his explanation. He listened raptly, unsettled that he had no control over his own hand as the other man had grabbed it, he’d let go and gave Jiva back his knife.
Jiva took a hesitant breath but again slowly attacked as Alister told him to his shaking hand didn’t shake as much as being slow he was confident that he wouldn’t hit the man anyway, but he seriously doubted now that he would ever hit him, but just a little instruction was good. He wasn’t sure how he was suppose to disarm the man though because he had no weapon in his hand. So he just concentrated on seeing what the other man had tro show him.
