The snarl brought Raoth out of the weakness that he'd wallowed in for a moment. The walls snapped back up, and he was dark again. Growling he stood up from where he'd been. Was that story just so she could snap at him, point out his vulnerabilities? He hadn't pitied her. He'd seen the similarities. Raoth was too aggressive though, responding to even the slightest hint of violence with a temper large enough to fit someone much larger.

Jealousy filled him as she continued to speak. Her life might be fine and dandy now. She might be able to move on and live this fantastic life. Him, though. He wasn't even chained, and yet was still a slave. He couldn't leave Aro, despite trying to. Raoth made up for it with his loyalty, trying to adjust to this life. It was hard though. Harder than he'd thought possible. Freedom was just a dream now. Offered to drink he took the bottle, chugging down as much as possible. It burned his throat, but he didn't care. The rage had returned, and he had to act tough.
