The submissive behavior meant nothing to the coyote, believing that she was just waiting for a chance to uncurl. Though Hadley and Raoth had never met more than in brief moments, their training was similar, and even with opposite temperaments reacted in similar ways. He watched her, waiting for what she might do now. The growl broke out, the rage in Sidra's voice every bit as hot tempered and real as his own, snarling at the men that weren't there. He understood her feelings far too well.

He did understand her anger, but that didn't mean he was going to open up again. The suspicion had returned, Raoth eying her warily as she took the flask back. Feeling it soon? This wasn't going to turn out like that joint Aro smoked, was it? Where it made him feel really light headed? A sinking pit moved through his stomach. This was not going to end well. Keeping up a facade of not caring Raoth shrugged, acting like it was no big deal. He could handle it. That is, maybe if he focused hard enough.
