Sonje by Sie!

Sonje clicked her teeth disappointedly when Willam claimed to have come empty-handed. She narrowed her eyes indistinctly but shrugged it off. This would have been much more fun (or productive, she considered) if her "guest" had had something to hand her. The hybrid couldn't imagine the pleasure she might have gotten from the small feat by way of trickery. It took some effort, but she masked her inward depression and yawned instead as the Inferni woman offered to hunt in return for the warehouse goods. Don't worry about it, she said, waving a bangled hand dismissively. Really, she felt much too lazy at the time to go spotting on a hunt—she wouldn't even have participated if asked. First time's a freebie, she added lazily, but clever.

She motioned for Willam to follow, picking a careful stride back up the street she'd come, heading back towards her own horse. I know a good stockroom on the docks where there's plenty of good rope, lumber and some stacks of leather left. Canvas you might find in one of the art shops down in the lower districts, but that's something you'll have to find on your own. She shrugged, glancing over her shoulder to make sure the young woman was following, handsome horse in tow. She looked ahead, spying the real Jagga shifting anxiously back and forth in the middle of the old road. Reaching the gray mare, she touched her face and stilled fear in her large, chocolate-brown eyes. Shh, now. Shall we ride to the docks, love? she teased her charcoal mane, before hauling herself gracefully onto the broad mare's back, careful not to jostle the sheathed sword hanging precariously against the knapsack strap on Jagga's shoulder.

Taking the reins, she turned Jagga towards Willam, still walking her steed. You may wanna mount up. It's quite a few blocks down, she motioned east, turning her horse in that direction and sending her off on a gentle trot. Jagga kept tossing her head curiously in Châtiment's direction, always curious to meet other horses.
