Saki quickly grew bored with the adults' talk, wandering back to the flower. Finding a particularly big one Saki bowed down, and began to tackle it, pretending that it was prey to have taken down. Tharin kept an ear turned towards her as he watched Fayne. Having pups in the pack was always a good thing. Sky's pups were no longer truly young, adults now in a sense. Lucia and Saki were the only young ones really left.
Noah was an idiot. That was his first response to Fayne's words. Of course, he couldn't actually say that. The fact that he didn't care for the cripple was no secret, though he did his best to be polite about it. He was Fayne's mate after all, so he had to get along with him to an extent. Looks like your dreams are coming true then. He would do his best to protect Fayne, and make sure that the pups could come into the world safely. He had to.
