Tharin bumped back into Fayne affectionately, tail wagging the entire time. The scent of the meadow was all around them, cheering him up. It was a good place to come and frolic, as ridiculous as such an image was attached to the usually serious wolf. There was nothing to be concerned about! Just them relaxing and enjoying each other. And Saki. The noise drew his attention, concerned as he watched the crippled pup leap for a flower. Perhaps a healthier pup would have succeeded. He didn't know. He did worry about her getting further harmed.
He nodded his head, not realizing at all what Fayne was thinking about. Tharin was close to Kiara, closer to her than he was to most of the other members of the pack. He cared for them all dearly, but Kiara was one of the first that she'd met, and a normal wolf on top of that. He could understand her when he couldn't understand the others. Yes. We hunt together at times, and I help her care for Lucia. I usually sleep outside her den. He didn't want them to get hurt, as silly as it was playing the protector inside a strong pack.
Family comes first.
