How could he draw knowledge from it as the cat did? Nodding his head he stared hard at the book, trying to make it tell him something. He growled a little at it, but still nothing happened. Puzzled he looked over to Adonia, waiting for her to explain how it worked.
Her quiet voice spoke out, discussing what was there. Tilting his head he tried to see what she was seeing, but there was nothing there that told him what she was saying. He studied the colorful bird, wondering where those places that she'd mentioned were. Not in the north, he could say that much. Such a colorful bird would have been spotted for miles against the snow, and eaten. Have you seen this macaw? Could he find one? Noticing the awkwardness in her frame he tilted his head. What was wrong?
