The artist's friend had pulled the reigns of her horse, causing his speed to rapidly increase; she had taken notice of his pet trying to race the horse. The young male watched as she continued to keep up with the horse; he had never known she could fly so fast! She had barely ever flown because she had Edgar to feed her and take care of her; she relied on him very heavily. In a way, Edgar and her were a little flock. Daringly, Edgar let go completely of his grip on Vladislava's shoulders, then raising his arms up in the air; legs squeezing the sides of the horse. It gave him a rush of adrenaline, his fear had completely faded. Suddenly, the spotted equine came to a halt; causing him and the girl to be bumped up into the air. She then turned around, seeming to ask him if he was alright. Edgar then gave her a sharp nod, wanting to continue. At that moment, he realized that he might have to get a horse himself with all the travelling he usually did. It was something for the boy to consider. The goose timidly flew toward Vladislava when the horse stopped, wanting her to be another friend of hers'. She landed on the back of the horse and playfully, or annoyingly, pecked at her back.
