Ever since they declared their feelings for each other and since moving most of his things into her home, Eclipse occupied most of his waking thoughts for the majority of the day. But, as a few weeks went by, other thoughts began to creep into his mind. Like the pack for example--having totally forgot about Cercatori and her existence, the thought came to him quickly and with a good bit of force

He was never one to really get into pack matters, seeing that everyone but his family weren't to be trusted, but ever since the woman came into his life, he began to realize slowly that perhaps he should open up a bit more. Especially now when he had someone to protect. So, he had tried to socialize with his packmates more, and found that they were actually pleasurable company. Even the vague memory of the blurred moments with Vasiliy brought a good natured smile to his face, and he asked himself why he had been holding himself out on such good times. Perhaps he could make up for the many months he had spent on his lonesome, being no use to the pack than to just waste space. He had to change things, starting now.

A giggle and the sound of clunking disturbed him from his thoughts, and a somewhat familiar murmur caught his ears. He had been lounging in a chair, simply thinking and reflecting, and he cupped his ears towards the sounds. His curiosity piqued, and if it had been months ago he probably would have ignored it, but now he answered the beckoning of his desire to know what was going on. He peeked through the window, and saw his mother standing in front of the house while his younger siblings was tossing out things from a wagon they were riding on. A small smile crept on his face, and he quickly went to the door and exited the house, and his face broadened at the sight of the pale woman. "Hi, mom," he greeted, and looked down at his brother and sister, and flashed a big grin as a greeting for them. While it was somewhat weird to have half-siblings, it was more of the feeling of being a big brother than the fact that they didn't share the same father. They were his family never the less.
