He felt a surge of happiness as it seemed the pups were excited to see him, and it brought his own tail to wag along with their's. Earlier, when he first discovered of thier existence when they were still unborn, he had thought that he would mind them much, and had laid his restless thoughts to bed about that topic. But, now that they were bundling bunches of fur, and seeing them more active than ever before, a deep curiosity overcame him; he hadn't really been around many pups, either not finding much interest in their company or simply had not been around him, and considering these were his siblings, he felt even more intrigued than he would have previously thought.

He crouched down a bit to be at their eye level, and wanted to grin ear to ear when they tried to say his name. He wondered if he sounded like that when he was young, even with his own name--he must've, he guessed, for he was a puppy once before, after all. He glanced up at Skye when she spoke again, and the large smile that was decorating his face was easily wiped off. He jerked back to his feet, and quickly stammered meekly, "She's--what're you--uh..." He knew his mother had a sharp eye, and he realized that his moving of things weren't exactly unnoticeable, as was the amount of time he would spend with Eclipse; there was no way to deny what she had said to be true, for the most part.

"S-she's not my girlfriend," he finally stated, and had to pause to muse over his words. Yes, she wasn't his girlfriend. She was something more, they were more than a courtship. But how can he put what they were in words, he was not quite sure.
