If I had words to make a day for you,

I'd give you a morning, golden and true.

I would make this day last for all time,

Give you a night deep in moonshine.

15.10.12 . 12 noon . vinatta shoreline . optime form

His discovery this morning had set excitement racing through his body. The overturned boat might be damaged, but the structure was strong and relatively new and it would be worth repairing. Vinátta was out of the way of most packs, aside from one, and it would be an extremely good way to breach the short gap of ocean between them and mainland Nova Scotia. They could, of course, have gone around the land like most, but any trip they wished to make would have taken at least a week- a boat would cut that down to a day, two at worst. That being said, his plans were getting ahead of him- the boat in question still lay face down in the sand, the mast snapped like a twig and damage to the hull that desperately needed to be repaired. He'd returned to Jordheim to find some willing and able volunteers and had found them.

They'd split up after he'd revealed his plan- Saul had moved towards the barns to gather some of the spare wood that had been stored there. Logically they'd need to spend a while repairing the boat and ensuring it was waterproof before attempting a trip to the other end of Nova Scotia. It had to start somewhere thought and that would be in turning the boat upright to assess the full extent on the damage. He'd gathered the rope from home (and in doing so had explained his plan to Lilin and Colibri) before moving back towards the shoreline.

They would be able, with combined strength and force, be able to pull the boat back around to face skywards once more. And if they turned it with planks of wood in the sand already, they'd be able to raise it up to get to the damage beneath. Arriving back first, Saul began to arrange things how he wished- laying two long planks of wood beside the boat and moving to tie off three lines of rope to the other side of the vessel, in preparation for help.
