Rizu was not normally the type of coyote who found herself at the borders of unknown lands and destinations. She was normally a well rounded female whom kept close to her family and friends, ignoring their faults and accepting their stories. Until recently. The events that had taken place within her own clan were to horrible to think of, yet alone whisper to a comforting ear. She found the only way to escape such memories was to travel as far away from home as she possibly could. It seemed for now though Rizu could travel no further. Weary to the bone the young female looked warily around her as she broke free of dense brush to look upon a far stretch of beach that bordered an inlet that led into vast waters.

She hugged herself as the rain, that seemed to never stop, bit at her fur along with the water being blown in from the bay, the morning holding a bitter chill even as the day slowly progressed into the afternoon. It seemed Rizuka would have to make camp here until someone came across her. Turning back into the woods that bordered the beach and the scent of a claimed territory Rizu started to search for wood that was unmarked by the damp to build a small fire, though she knew her task was quite futile since it had rained for a few days now and was only doing such a thing occupy her mind for now. Rizu was certainly a pretty though could never claim so herself, even for being quite scrawny from a long travels she wasn't the most plain of coyotes out there. Her eyes were an ever changing hazel, and her form shapely enough. Her fur which was normally sprinkled sand and tan was dark and damp now, her breast band and shorts damp as well from traveling in the rain for so long. Her dark brown hair which was in dreadlocks carried only beads of the rain that had escaped the grasps of the leafy cover above, though a tad frizzy from being damp for so long.

All together she looked like an innocent enough traveler, with a small belt knife placed neatly in one of her pockets, and a brightly colored bracelet that bore the different colors of her birth clan, families status and name. She only kept such a thing to remind her of her past, and looking upon it now she frowned, distracted from her task to stand still and gaze down at her wrist, clearly wrapped up in thought as she had so often been on her long journey here. She hoped one day she would be able to elude the mesmerizing grasp of her bracelet, but for now she would remain trapped in its trance until she could pull herself back to the present and more pressing things.
