Throwing back her head, Cercelee let out a long howl, the sound reaching far and falling on the short houses of Berwick and the larger buildings of Wolfville. Shrugging Cercelee began to move forward again. She wasn’t sure who or what to expect, but there couldn’t be too much of a commotion with Savina in tow.

With every step they took Dahlia de Mai was drawing nearer, and Cercelee wasn’t quite sure what she was feeling. Excitement and longing to return home, of course, but also a strange dread. Not that they had de-ranked her, she knew they hadn’t. Not that there would be strangers in her pack, there was sure to be wolves she hadn’t met that had passed through.
