”Never heard of it.” She turned to face the green eyes female. They were like Nani’s eyes, light, but only by a hint. She had light cheeks framed by the tawny grey and browns of a true timber. There was an almost ragged edge to her coat, but it was only the remnants of such tattered fur. It was as if there was a time that Dahlia de Mai hadn’t been the most fortunate of packs. She was beautiful all the same, and Anu had a hard time understanding how she could be disconnected.

Anu wasn’t the type for asking wolves to leave, if they weren’t disrupting anything of course. She couldn’t keep their introductions a secret anymore, and the curiosity that she held was far too overwhelming. “I’m Anu.” The words just came out, hoping to provoke a name from this shewolf. But of course that was information that she may not be whiling to share. As if her voice had a mind of it own she softly added, “If you want, you can tell me yours.” In case she didn’t know of realize that it was only polite to respond with her own calling.

She looked into green eyes, hoping, just hoping to provoke something from the stranger.
