The female tightened her grip in his mane and refused to give him space and opportunity to leave. He needed to be in control, at least over his own vessel, and this was something that scared him. His upset heartbeats slammed against his chest like a miniature drum, causing the heavy echo to tap its rhythm in his ears. Was this all because of his inability to handle the young female in front of him? When her hand trailed up and touched his fail, a visible shiver went through the Lilium’s body. What did he see in him anyway? Why did she allow this to happen to her yet turn into fragile glass in front of him and allow him to see her like this. Why? He had not done anything to deserve it, only a lot to not deserve it. She said no, but it was sadly true. He had issues with looking at her open face, and halfway shut his eyes, avoiding Firefly’s gaze.

Jaws pressed together tight as he wondered if he would ever come up with something to say that would not make her violent nor hurt. His hands lifted and settled above her elbows with nothing but a light pressure. Truth. It was, he believed. He had made no effort seeing anyone else after the war, and had only hid away from everything and everyone until a few days ago, after the hybrid had ruined his day and spoken out loud what Haku already guessed had happened. I’m sorry, Firefly. He was, he actually was. His eyes slowly rose to meet hers, but they were full of uncertainty. Maybe they could.. Start over with whatever they had and try to it out. It was possibly dream thinking from his side, but.. He did not want things to be like this.
