To explore the unknown
#7
He had caught the scent of milk on the woman and he should have know there were pups close by but he'd tried to ignore the fact.. but it seemed out of nowhere that he wasn't going to be allowed to ignore any factor today. Suddenly it was as if all hell had broken lose across the grounds as the two were bombarded with voices from all over the area. Flicking his ears back as he crouched down low for a moment the male gazed around, trying to figure out of the female was trying to trick him into an ambush, but before she was even able to explain anything a tiny voice behind her seemed to do just that.

A silly smile broke out across Sankor's maw as he raised a brow towards Naniko and chuckled. "Did I catch you at a horrible time?" He knew nothing of raising pups, but he knew how much of a handful a full litter could be, his sibling and he had been a test to both parents, and if they were still around they probably would still be just that. He smiled and tried to catch sight of the little owner of the voice that seemed to be shadowing the mother but it was almost useless.

Righting himself back up proper the male asked, "How many?" He knew three had been enough for his mother, but it always did amaze him at how one wolf could manage to keep ahold to so many little feet. Not that he wanted to try that anytime soon, but the science behind it just screamed impossible and he was curious to watch real life in motion.. even if that sounds creepy and strange to anyone else.
