Evening. Catherine was lyed down in a giant plane rock in the middle of the sea - maybe a "mini island" -, moving her paws slowly to create small waves in the water. Neither her bow, nor her knives nor her instincts could give her some dinner. "Again" - she thought, impaciently. She has been starving roughly three days and she almost could see all her skeleton. All those hunting where a waist of energy, and now she was too worn out to try catching anything. She needed to sleep, but she didn't want to. Seaguls started to land in that rock, near her head, the sound of their wings flapping lightly... Her eyelids got heavier.
Something landed on her nose, awaiking and scaring the heck all out her. On her feet beacuse of the fright, she gasped and begun growling to the seaguls, baring her white teeth. Some of them flew away, but others just ignored her. Trying to take that annoying disturb out of her head, she saw something she hadn't noticed before: a tall and big structure rising from the beach. It looked in ruins, maybe one of those odd thing humans did a long time ago, after their extinction. A little voice inside her head said to go and take a closer look, but another voice said to stay and take a rest... Both wishes were very tempting, but another thing got her attention: a white shape walking in two legs quickly, going to that human ruins. She couldn't see anymore details because of the sea mist, but she knew everything she needed to know: another Luperci. Of course this was so much tempting: meeting someone, after so meany time of solitude, was an opportunity she wouldn't waist.
She trowed herself to the warm water, and took a deep breath for a diving. Getting closer to the beach with each step - each awkward step -, she saw that the mysterious shape had some kind of a coat. She was getting more and more excited. Her sharp and loud howl filled the beach, breaking the silent. She stopped, her legs trembling of anxiety, while she waited for an answer of her call...
